Meet John Corkill

Seeking professional advice to help achieve your financial goals is an important investment in your future. As a financial planner, I strive to build long term relationships with my clients by offering consistent, personalised and comprehensive ongoing service.

I believe in regular communication with clients, transparency along with professional excellence and attention to detail.

No matter where you are in your life or business cycle, I can work with you to gain an understanding of your needs, existing financial situation and risk tolerance. This helps me design and build a tailor-made plan to help you meet your financial goals and make the right decisions so you can have the future and retirement you want.

I provide advice on all areas of financial planning including :

  • Wealth creation strategies
  • Tax effective investment
  • Pre-retirement strategies to build savings and reduce tax
  • Social security entitlements
  • Risk profile assessment for peace of mind
  • Aged care strategy advice to minimise care fees and manage cashflow
  • Estate planning

My experience combines both academic study with practical experience. I have worked in the financial services industry as a senior financial planner for the last 12 years and previously I was a qualified CPA with extensive public practice experience in taxation.

I am a member of the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) and have completed the Advanced Diploma of Financial Services in Financial Planning as well as a Bachelor of Business Degree (Finance and Accounting).
