  • Nathan has over 25 years of experience in financial services.
  • Nathan is responsible for leading a national team of people who are passionate about making financial advice accessible for more Australians. He is responsible for the management of the Bridges business, setting the strategic initiatives and ensuring our people are empowered to deliver an outstanding service to our clients.
  • Nathan joined Bridges in 2016 and has previously worked for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Western Pacific Financial Group.

Dean Taylor

Dean Taylor

Head of Advice 

  • Dean has over 20 years of experience in financial services.
  • He manages the strategy and execution of the advice practice management teams. He is driven to create an environment that facilitates the timely delivery of advice services to our clients, in a way that ensures their best interests are at the forefront of what we do and how we work.
  • Dean joined Bridges in 2017, having previously worked for QInvest, ANZ and Commonwealth Bank Financial Planning.

Eric Quak

Head of Growth and Strategy

  • Eric joined Bridges in 2017 having previously worked for BT Financial Group and Russell Investments.
  • He brings over 20 years of experience across the entire wealth management chain including, strategy development and execution, advice, investments, distribution and mergers and acquisitions.
  • At Bridges, Eric oversees our corporate partnerships, and is responsible for the strategic direction of the business. He also ensures we are in a strong financial position and we invest in areas that are meaningful to our people and our clients.
  • Under Eric’s leadership, Bridges has acquired multiple businesses which have seamlessly integrated into our business and seen more Australians receive quality and holistic financial advice.

Astrid Cobby

Head of Business Initiatives and Governance

  • Astrid has 15 years of experience in financial services.
  • She is responsible for process initiatives and governance in the Bridges business – improving how we deliver our service to our clients and keeping them safe through stringent and diligent governance.
  • Astrid joined Bridges in 2019, having previously worked for ClearView and BT.

Mike OShea

Mike O’Shea

Head of Client Experience

  • Mike has 14 years experience in financial services.
  • Mike is responsible for improving the Bridges client experience and building a business model that delivers financial guidance that matters to our clients. Mike leads a committed cross-functional team that seeks to understand what clients value, simplify ways of work, and enhances client outcomes.
  • Mike joined Bridges in 2017 and has previously worked for Commonwealth Bank (Fin. Services), ACNielsen and Unilever (FMCG).

Rachel Palmer

Rachel Palmer

Senior Business Services Manager

  • Rachel has over 10 years of experience in financial services.
  • She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our team and supports us with our with marketing, communications, events and administrative processes.
  • Rachel joined Bridges in 2022, having previously worked at ANZ and Insignia Financial (formerly IOOF).
